Antarctica Expedition Travel And Diving Tour - 16th Sept 2019

Kevin, I and our friends, we wanted to go Antarctica for a snowy Xmas celebrations but decided to bring it forward in lieu of the upcoming Climate Change Strike ahead !!! :)

Traveling to Antarctica is not an easy or affordable feat. Most travel opportunities fall into the luxury category. The loophole to getting down to the world’s southernmost continent (for the creative set at least) is through the Antarctic Artists and Writers Program (AAW).

The program was developed to get more eyes on the U.S. Antarctic Program (USAP) efforts there and to get the general public to better understand and appreciate those efforts. Photographers, sculptors, historians, painters, science writers and children’s novelists have been among the chosen program participants given the opportunity to travel to Antarctica on the National Science Foundation’s dime.

Took us around 16hrs of flight time duration from Manila Airport, then to Antarctica. Really, we have no patience/determination like Miss Greta to travel via sailboat etc... hence we had no choice but to take a flight across to there. Just want to bring the Eco and Climate message to Everyone that if we still do not do anything much for this planet, we might all be in grave danger after 8.5years, as estimated by Miss Greta, upon on her climate emissions level predictions.

To experience for ourselves, share more awareness with the World, on what's the conditions happening there right now @ Antarctica. Stay tuned for our latest updates! :P

We have Finally Arrived @ Antarctica after a 15hrs flight from Manila Airport, Philippines. Cool !!! :) Swee, we have one more country on our travel checklist done!

With such an awesome ice sheets sight ahead of us, and braving a -26 Degree Celcius of icy chilly temperatures here, pardon us if we are not able to do our daily FB posts, for next couple of weeks.

Here's some of beautiful magnificent photos we have taken regards to the penguins, and of some other wildlife living here.
