The Perhentian Turtle Project

From ocean and beach cleanups to education, the team and volunteers behind the Perhentian Islands have it going for them. Founded in 2015, the conservation project has been consistently engaging the public and driving marine life awareness for a better ocean. Kudos to the team! There is much room for improvement as rubbish is highly visible around the island. There is also a strong need for motorboat propellers to be replaced with marine life friendly propellers so that turtles and people don't get cut by the blades.
