A dive spot worth while a visit.

Topside, Mike's Point is an unassuming pinnacle jutting up from the water's surface. As the story goes, the currents rage so fiercely here that the tiny island was bombed during WWII after the wake caused it to be mistaken for an enemy ship. When I dropped down behind Mike's Point for the first time, all I could do was float in awe of the most beautiful reefscape I had ever seen. Sea fans, hard corals, and leather corals mingled together in perfect harmony, a kaleidoscopic fantasy I had only dreamed of previously. You'll want to go when the current is just right; it took me three tries to get it right, but i was worth the wait.
