A reef with a wonderful variety of marine life.
Between the USAT Liberty wreck and Coral Garden dive sites sits a large sandy slope, which drops gradually to 25m. Here, between ridges of underwater hills and valleys, the area is comprised of dark sand with sparse coral coverage. It's a giant box of rubble, but oh the surprises in store. Often the Liberty's residents, such as the horse-eye jacks and giant barracuda, pay visits to this area. And though it looks desolate, if you just slowly open your macro eyes you'll find an assortment of interesting critters, from frogfish to octopus to weird and wonderful nudibranchs.
(Ok enough with the stories, I'm itchin' for a dive)
