Tucked deep inside of Palau's famous Blue Hole sits the light-swallowing entrance to the Temple of Doom.
Tucked deep inside of Palau's famous Blue Hole sits the light-swallowing entrance to the Temple of Doom. Inside, the skeletons of turtles litter the barren sea floor of this secret chamber. They rest in quiet solitude, their existential slumber disturbed only by the occasional passing glow from a diver's torch. A handful of these skeletal remains are well preserved and sure to quicken the heartbeat of any diver who discovers this cache of goodies. Even though guidelines run through the Temple they are old and unreliable. Sorry, guys and gals: This cave is for the experienced only, and going with a local diver who knows the site is the only way to tour it safely. Bring reels, some strobes, and plenty of light.
(Ok enough with the stories, I'm itchin' for a dive)
