An excellent dive spot in PNG for its critters and pelagics.
When the current is running over Suzie's Bommie, this is by far the best spot in PNG! Huge schools of trevally, surgeonfish, and fusiliers can be found off the wall while a resident school of sweetlips can always be counted on, hovering over the top of the bommie. There is also a resident giant Maori wrasse, which unfortunately stays just beyond the limit of even the best lens! Suzie's is also a great spot for the rare and unusual: Species is such as the leaf scorpionfish and lacey scorpionfish, stonefish, and purple dart gobies are commonly seen at this site. For the photographer it's always a dilemma: Do I take the wide-angle or macro lens? Why not dive it multiple times and take both?
(Ok enough with the stories, I'm itchin' for a dive)
