A place blessed with regular visits from humpback whales.

There are few places on earth blessed with regular visits from humpback whales, and even a fewer where laws actually allow us to get into the water with these behemoths. Vava'u isn't really a dive site since the boats go out looking for whales; thus, locations change every day. And it's not even really a dive, as interactions are done on snorkel. The magic moments when you snorkel with a humpback last anywhere from a few fleeting seconds to hours of bliss. It all depends what the whales are doing and how you behave.
