IS IT TOO LATE TO SAVE OUR PLANET?

In a 2018 report by the IPCC, it was stated that 12 years are left to turn the fight against climate change around. Other sources quoted the much more stringent deadline of 18 months. Some bleaker minds say it is already too late, and yet other analyses point out numerous thresholds and therefore cannot give a precise doomsday deadline.
So, how much time is left to save our planet really? Is there an actual tipping point to our planet?
Whether you call it global warming, Anthropocene or climate crisis, humans are not programmed for long-term, slow crises. We just know how to think (and/or run) real fast when chased by an angry grizzly bear, but climate change is coming at humans from a dead angle. The slow burn angle.
Mexico, Central America and many countries are facing imminent huge storms, large scale hurricanes, emergency alert has to be activated, save their lives soon, we are in partial lockdown in Singapore, cannot travel now, all we can do is to spread this news, and get all the help to these people as soon as we can. There is no time to lose already. We cannot just let ourselves be consumed/distracted by the virus pandemic, OR all the social unrest happening across World, even though it is overwhelming, painful, heartbreaking and sad. There is still so much work to be done ahead of us, let's work together to heal the hearts of people, heal the world and heal all living beings on this planet Earth, shall we??? We also must not forget the goal target settings, IPCC, UN and WHO. Discussions are already forced to postponed for another year due to virus pandemic, all the more we need to race against time. And do more... Fast.
