Beluga whales can be encountered at this dive spot.

I'd been dangling alongside our slow-moving Zodiac, waiting to see the famous sea canary. This was my first drop into the dark waters of Canada, and large chunks of icebergs were floating around me. After a five-minute tow I pulled myself back aboard the dinghy, my joints rigid from the cold. My teeth clattering, I murmured to friend and fellow photographer Brandon Cole, "I saw them. I saw them swimming, upside down, beneath me." The lovely wite whales.
