Probably the most famous tiger shark dive in the world.
Tiger Beach is probably the most famous tiger shark dive in the world. Led by Jim Abernethy's boundless enthusiasm, experienced shark divers get to spend time in the water - without a cage - with large tigher sharks and lemon sharks. My personal record at the site is over 12 tiger sharks simultaneously mingling among over 40 lemon sharks; others have reported more than 20 tigers at one go. In an age where sharks are being fished by the millions for shark fin soup, it's incredible to have a site where so many large sharks can be seen consistently. I often tell friends who are afraid of sharks that the best way to lose this fear is to jump into the water with them. They think i'm crazy. If it's adventure you seek, then it's you who'd be crazy not to dive Tiger Beach.
(Ok enough with the stories, I'm itchin' for a dive)
