Nothing can prepare you for a dive on a battleship.
Nothing can prepare you for a dive on a battleship. It's a shock to see a "seabed" at 17m when the dive brief said the gravel was 40m below, and then you realise you're looking at the upturned hull of the battleship Markgraf. The steel superstructure drops into the depths until you reach the casement guns close to the actual seabed. The wreck towers above you. Everyone who has dived her before said "big," but until you see for yourself you'll never understand exactly how large this ship really is. Scape is world-class wreck diving destination in its own right. One battleship would make it fantastic enough, but this large natural harbour has an unparalleled choice of three battleships and five cruisers for divers to explore.
(Ok enough with the stories, I'm itchin' for a dive)
