Sneak a peek at the Seletar jetty and fishermen kelongs on our way to the site, and enjoy the beautiful mangrove forest that surround the river. Our waterways are often clogged with plastics and other marine debris — so join us on 10 Nov for a coastal clean up to tackle the litter and learn about why this matters to marine life (and eventually, us).

We'll be collecting data to better understand the profile and quantities of materials found and hopefully, to get us to rethink our consumption habits! Trash bags, gloves, and data cards will be provided.

Beginners are welcome! Parents who want to bring their young ones should bring tongs for their children as our adult-sized gloves will not be safe for them to use.

MEETING POINT: Aft Shell Aviation Bus Stop (Stop ID: 68159)
ESTIMATED END TIME: 630 PM

WHAT TO BRING:
- At least 1 litre of water to hydrate
- Pen
- Cap
- Wear long sleeves / trousers to guard against mozzies and sunburn
- Wear diving booties or completely covered, hard-soled shoes during the clean up. Proper footwear is required.
