Bintan is the largest island in the Riau province of Indonesia located just south of Singapore.
Bintan is lined by a coast of 105 km, and is popular with visitors for its beach resorts and recreational activities like snorkeling, jet-skiing, wind surfing, canoeing, sailing and diving.
Bintan’s dive sites are largely untouched, only gaining popularity in recent years. Bintan is great for basic scuba courses as the areas surrounding it are shallow.
Due to its close proximity from Singapore, it is also a good place for a short dive getaway for divers who just want to get under the water.
After diving, there is a plethora of other activities you can indulge in.

Penyusuk Island, Bintan, Indonesia
Penyusuk is consisted of granite rock piles combined with green trees which grows in between the rocks making the beach scenery majestic. Stretches at approximately 4 kilometers, it has two beaches. On the right side is a white sandy beach with granite stones, and on the left side is a typical beach, with larger granite structure that protects the beach area from waves making a natural sanctuary. Both sides are equally beautiful but one must take precaution as some granite stones are very slippery.
The diving experience here is advisable for both beginner and professional divers. Under the sea, there is a huge number of various aquatic species. With an average depth is 4.5 metres, it can reach a maximum depth of 10.1 metres. There are small colorful fishes hiding in its amazing corals. There are a number of water activities offered as well such as boating, kayaking, fishing, and swimming.

Mapur Island
Mapur Island has a plethora of marine life, divers will be rewarded with sightings of Batfish, Giant Cuttlefish, Juvenile Sweetlips, Spanish Mackerel, Large Blue-Spotted Rays, and White-tip Reef Sharks. Schools of Trevallies and Bump head Parrotfish are also residents to Mapur Island with large Table corals and other massive hard corals decorating its waters.
White Rock
The names Pedra Branca and Batu puteh mean "white rock" in portuguese and malay respectively. on the island stands horsburgh lighthouse, which was erected in the middle of the nineteenth century.
Umbrella Rock
This dive site is usually the first one the diving masters recommend for beginners on their first dive. With an average depth of 6.9 metres, and a maximum depth of 10.1 metres, divers can explore the depths longer than other sites given the current is not that strong and visibility is at its best.
Nikoi Island
Nikoi is surrounded in stunning coral reefs and is part of the Sunda shelf, hence the seabed is relatively shallow and rarely exceeds 20 metres. Visibility is best during the months of March to November for diving these waters. The strong currents in the area makes it a difficult dive but is home to soft coral gardens which is its main attraction.
Hassan Rock
Hassan Rock is one of the must-see attractions in Bintan Island. It is a new dive site that offers a good diving experience for both amateur and professional divers. It has a very good visibility and is known for its perfectly shallow water depth.

Dive Trip Requirements
• Valid passport and Visa (if applicable)

• Able to snorkel/swim in the sea
• Minimum of PADI Open Water Diver Certification or equivalent (for leisure diver)

How to Get There
Via ferry from Harbourfront or Tanah Merah Ferry terminal in Singapore.
Payment Terms
SGD 100 deposit required upon confirmation of booking of accommodation and dive trip.
Payment payable once upon confirmation of booking of accommodation and or with dive trip package/s.

Disclaimer
Any change in trip dates after booking confirmation will be subjected to SGD 100 administrative fees per change/s.
Full fees will be charges for packages cancelled or postponed with less than 28 days notice.
If you cancel less than 28 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, full payment will be non-refundable.
If more than 28 days, 50% of the package price will be forfeited with an administrative charge of SGD 50 Payable to the dive shop.
If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee.
If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
* The timings are as estimated proposed. Diving trip is subjected to road / traffic / tide / weather conditions on the day of trip.

Includes Boat transport, and for each pax meal - Breakfast, Lunchand transport back and forth to your hotel or resort or hostel accomodation.
If you will like to book for the accomodation for a stay for 1 Night or more for yourself and family members or for a tour group etc. , please indicate for your accomodation booking, for the number of days/nights of stay here in Singapore, and we will arrange for you.
Subjective to availability.
An invoice will be sent to you via email on the separate payment charges for accomodation stay.
Applicable to local and foreign visitors :
• The arrangement of the sequence of the itinerary is subject to change with/without prior notice.
• In the event that the venue of attraction is closed to visitors, it will be replaced with an alternative venue if possible.
• May request for travel itinerary from us via email.
